The Rhoades School serves the needs of bright, creative, and socially able students in grades kindergarten through eighth and is open to qualified children of any race, color, nationality, or religion. The following admission process is designed to help both families and the school learn as much as possible about the applicants in order to make a strong, informed decision on behalf of each child.

TOURS
We invite all prospective parents to attend our annual Open House Saturday, November 17, 2007 beginning at 10:00 a.m., which will include a presentation by the administrative staff followed by a campus tour. This day is designed for a parent-only audience. Please call the school office at (760) 436-1102 to make reservations for attendance.

Individual tours may be arranged between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. daily. Tours take approximately 20 minutes and may be scheduled through the Admissions Office.

TUITION
Tuition for the 2008/09 school year will be $12,775 for grades K-5 and $13,500 for grades 6-8. The Rhoades School tuition covers charges for classroom instruction, books, and most supplies. It does not include lunches, the Extended Day program, after school Enrichment Classes, or fees for field trips. Other expenses will vary with the interests and wishes of the individual.

Regarding financial aid, forms are available in the school office and should be submitted by January 18, 2008. Financial aid is awarded on a confidential basis, and need is determined by the School Scholarship Service (SSS) and criteria established by The Rhoades Foundation. Financial status or need are not considered in the admissions selection process.
