Achievements

Standardized Tests
Each year we evaluate our students’ academic progress against national standards by administering the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills. Scores in reading, language arts, math, social studies and science are ranked by percentiles against a nationwide average, helping us ensure that our standards and results remain high. Consistently, our students’ scores place both the school and each grade level in the 99th percentile nationally.

Exceptional Students
We also take pride in the number of students who qualify for Davidson Young Scholar designation, Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth and the UCI Talent Searches. These programs are highly prestigious, and are designed solely for students with exceptional abilities.

High School
Rhoades students typically attend college preparatory high schools in the community, including The Bishop's School, Canyon Crest High School, Carlsbad High School, Cathedral High School, Del Norte High School, Francis Parker, La Costa Canyon High School, La Jolla Country Day, Pacific Ridge, Rancho Buena Vista High School, San Dieguito Academy, and Torrey Pines High School.
