Girls mentoring group makes donation to San Diego Rescue Mission

Members of the 7th and 8th grade girls' mentoring group organized a donation for homeless women at the San Diego Rescue Mission. The mentoring group encouraged all 7th and 8th grade students to make small donations of soaps, lotions, lip balm, nail polish, toiletries, and candy to bring spring cheer to homeless women. The girls delivered the bags to the San Diego Rescue Mission on Saturday, April 15. The San Diego Rescue Mission was founded in 1954 to serve the hungry and homeless population in San Diego.
