Our Curriculum Home / Programs / Our Curriculum The Perfect Balance of Learning and Play We know that exceptional early childhood education goes far beyond isolated lessons. Our proprietary Links to Learning curriculum weaves together multiple disciplines, and is thoughtfully tailored to each child’s individual interests and developmental stage. Does your child like playing with blocks? We have tailored lesson plans delivered by passionate teachers that teachers may inspire her to build a tower while naming the colors and counting the blocks, linking language, math, and fine motor skills! Through this approach, children cultivate genuine confidence, essential academic and life skills, and a lifelong love of learning. Our program has six stages of age-appropriate learning and growth. From exploring the world around them to building early reading skills, we help students every step of the way. Schedule a Tour The Seven Components of Our Curriculum: Language & Literacy We nurture a lifelong love of reading through intentional daily immersion in stories, letters, and language. Through a literacy approach designed by our instructional experts, our print-rich environments invite students to bridge the gap between spoken thought and written expression. As they engage with high-quality literature and phonics, they develop the fluency and enthusiasm required to become sophisticated, independent readers. Mathematical Thinking Mathematics is introduced as a tool for understanding the world. Through our research-based instructional methods we introduce our students to foundational concepts in addition, subtraction, and geometry. Through hands-on exploration, they develop the ability to compare quantities, recognize patterns, and draw conclusions. These activities build the bedrock for the mathematical understanding, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills needed for more advanced subject matter in elementary school and beyond. Social-Emotional Learning Social-emotional learning is at the heart of Links to Learning and woven throughout our planned daily lessons. Our nurturing teachers guide students to recognize, name, and navigate their own emotions, as well as to develop empathy for the feelings of others. Students explore kindness, cooperation, and their place within a broader community through the use of puppets, literature, and role play. They gain the skills needed to self-regulate and express themselves with clarity and grace. Wellness Wellness is a critical component of early learning and development. We help our students develop their motor skills through dance, games, and physical activities. Our program also introduces them to foundational concepts of nutrition in order to understand how nourishing foods fuel growth, energy, and wellbeing. Students practice self-care routines, including proper handwashing, each day. Creative Expression Through music, visual art, and imaginative play in our Links to Learning experiences, our students discover the expressive possibilities within themselves. They build a rich vocabulary of artistic and musical concepts, exploring color, form, rhythm, and sound. In dramatic play, students author their own narratives and bring their imaginations to life. Scientific Exploration Our young scientists engage in hands-on inquiry through experimentation, observation, and collaborative problem-solving. They investigate how structures are built, how natural phenomena occur, how materials interact, and how machines function. Our science lessons develop foundational practices, critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the collaborative spirit that defines great scientific minds. Citizens of the World Our curriculum cultivates a genuine respect, understanding and appreciation for different people and places. Students explore traditions, celebrations, and customs from cultures around the globe. Spanish is woven through the day, introducing students to a second language in a natural way. The Hallmarks of Our Curriculum: Slide 1 Slide 2 Slide 3 Slide 4 Slide 5 Social-Emotional Learning Social-emotional learning matters just as much as reading and math. Our students practice sharing, taking turns, and working together with friends every day. They also learn to talk about their feelings and calm down when they are upset. In our classroom, every activity helps our students feel more confident and want to explore things on their own. Center-Based Learning Center-Based Learning Our preschool classrooms have special areas called “centers” where our students can learn by doing fun activities in small groups. These centers help them connect complex ideas to experiences in real life. Whether they are playing pretend in the dramatic play center or doing an experiment in the science center, your child will love moving throughout our classroom. Our students learn how to solve problems, work well with friends, build their confidence, and more. Literacy-Based Curriculum Literacy-Based Curriculum We create learning experiences centered around books and make sure our students have access to printed words. They connect words with pictures and ask questions because they are naturally curious. Our teachers label items in the classroom with photos and words. This helps our students begin learning words on their own. Personalized Learning Personalized Learning Our teachers make sure that each child learns in the way this is best for them. In small groups, they adjust lessons so students can learn at their own pace, whether they are learning something new or practicing skills. We make sure that our classrooms are warm and welcoming places where every child feels valued. Family Communication Family Communication We make it easy for our families to stay connected—so you have one less thing to worry about. We keep you updated on your child’s progress and daily activities through conferences, monthly folders, our family communication app, and more. These tools help you know what is going on in your child’s education every step of the way. Social-Emotional Learning
