Ms. Mary Bologna - Math Specialist

Welcome to Middle School Math!  I’m Mary Bologna.  I have been teaching mathematics at The Rhoades  School since 2006. And, I can’t begin to tell you how fortunate I am to be in the presence of such outstanding colleagues and remarkably bright students!  Currently, I am teaching Algebra 1A, Algebra 1B/Geometry and Algebra 2/Trigonometry.

I earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of  Arizona and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Loyola Marymount University.

Prior to coming to Rhoades, I taught high school mathematics and science for 38 years at Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena.  I also taught afternoon and evening mathematics classes for 6 years at California State University at Los Angeles (CSULA).  Additionally, I worked as a Senior Mathematician for the Bendix Corporation for three years after I graduated from college.

I enjoy all types of puzzles, games and mathematical recreational challenges.  I also love to cook, read and spend time with family and friends.  But most of all, I love teaching my multi-talented students who keep me on my toes!

Stop by and visit!
