Lower School: Arrival Grades 4 & 5: 8:15 a.m. – 8:35 a.m. Grades 2 & 3: 8:35 a.m. – 8:50 a.m. Grades TK, K & 1: 8:50 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Dismissal TK: 2:30 p.m. Kindergarten: 2:40 p.m. Grades 1 & 2: 2:50 p.m. Grades 3, 4 & 5: 3:05 p.m. Middle School: Arrival Grades 6, 7 & 8: 8:15 a.m. – 8:40 a.m. Dismissal Grades 6, 7 & 8: 3:00 p.m. Families with siblings in multiple grades should arrive during their oldest child’s drop off time. Parents with siblings on both campuses should pick up Lower School siblings first. Important Links and Information for Parents COVID-19 California Safety Plans – CSP (2.1.2021) CA COVID-19 School Guidance Checklist Rhoades Reopening Guidelines (8.21.20) Waiver – San Diego County Confirmation – August 21 Back-to-School Information & Forms Read the 2020-2021 Family Handbook (required in order to complete the Online Emergency Card) Complete the Online Emergency Card. (required – due by August 26) One Online Emergency Card must be completed for each child. All students (returning and new) must have an updated Emergency Card. Your child(ren) will not be able to attend the first day of school until we have received a completed Emergency Card. The Covid-19 Document & Parent Handbook Revision must be completed via DocuSign. These documents have been emailed to all Rhoades School parents. Students will not be able to start school until these documents have been signed and submitted. Grades TK-8 – Read and sign the iPad Handbook Student Pledge and Parent Agreement (required – due by August 28) Please see homeroom or advisory teacher webpage supply list under ‘resources’ for information on iPad models To receive iPad, students must bring completed forms and iPad case to campus on August 28 See information about Managed Apple ID accounts here Grade level school supplies Lower School families should see classroom teacher webpages Middle School students should see Advisor webpages Medication Authorization Form (required if your child needs medication during the school day) If your child has been prescribed an Epi-Pen and/or inhaler, an allergy action plan and/or an asthma action plan must be completed by a physician and email to Mrs. Price at DPrice@rhoadesschool.com. Grade 7 – Immunization update (Tdap) must be submitted prior to the start of school. (required – due before school starts) Students will not be able to attend the first day of school if they do not meet the State of California immunization requirements. Updated immunization records can be emailed to Mrs. Price at DPrice@rhoadesschool.com. For more information about mandatory 7th grade immunizations, visit Shots for School.
