2023-2024 School Hours

Preschool Arrival: student arrival begins at 8:15 a.m.

Lower School Arrival: students can be dropped off between 8:00 a.m. – 8:20 a.m. Attendance is taken at 8:25 a.m. and the Daily Dialogue starts at 8:30 a.m.

Middle School Arrival: students can be dropped off between 8:00 a.m. – 8:25 a.m. Attendance is taken at 8:30 a.m.

Preschool:

  • 8:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Before and After School available (7:30 – 5:30)

Lower School:

  • TK: 8:20 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Kindergarten: 8:20 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.
  • Grades 1 & 2: 8:20 a.m. – 2:50 p.m.
  • Grades 3-5: 8:20 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Before and After School available (7:30 – 5:30)

Middle School:

  • Grades 6, 7 & 8: 8:25 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.
  • After School available until 5:30

COVID-19 Information for Parents


  • Modification Request Form (optional)
    • For medications (OTC & prescription), learning and health accommodations.
    • Supporting documents provided by a physician for medical accommodations and a psychologist for learning accommodations are required.
    • If your student requires medication during the school day, you must complete this form and submit to your campus leader

  • Sign up for Extended Day
  • Medications (OTC & prescription), learning and health accommodations (due before student starts school)
    • This year, we will be utilizing a new process to authorize administration of medications.
    • Parents must complete a modification request form in order for school personnel to administer medication.
    • Supporting documents provided by a physician for medical accommodations and a psychologist for learning accommodations are required.
    • OTC medication for students require a prescription or must be administered by a parent/guardian. Non-prescription medications are not allowed at the Preschool.
    • Completed form can be returned to the Preschool office

Lower School:

Required Forms

  • Read the Parent & Student Handbook
    • Parents must acknowledge that they have read the Parent & Student Handbook in order to compete the Online Emergency Card
  • Complete one (1) Online Emergency Card for each child in Grades TK-5
  • Read and sign the iPad Handbook Student Pledge and Parent Agreement
    • Completed form can be dropped off at the Lower School office or emailed to Kim Kelley at KKelley@rhoadesschool.com
    • iPad information will be sent to parents the week of August 21
  • New student immunization records
    • All new students must submit a current immunization record
    • A copy of your child’s immunization record can be dropped off at the Lower School office or emailed to Diane Price at DPrice@rhoadesschool.com
  • 1st Grade Report of Health Examination for School Entry (due 90 days after entry into 1st grade)
    • Required for all 1st grade students
    • Please submit this form to your child’s physician to complete.
    • Completed form can be dropped off at the Lower School office or emailed to Diane Price at DPrice@rhoadesschool.com
  • 2023-2024 Grade level school supplies

Optional Forms

  • Before & After-School Program
    • Extended Day is the only before-school program available
    • After-school programs include Extended Day, enrichment classes, private music lessons and athletics
    • Private music lessons are available with Mr. Florentine.

    • Enrichment classes, private music lessons and athletics are filled on a “first come, first served” basis
    • Forms and payment can be dropped off at the Lower School office

  • 7th grade immunization requirement
    • All students entering 7th grade must have received one dose of the Tdap immunization. This additional dose must have been given after the student’s 11th birthday.
    • If your student has had this immunization, please bring a copy of his/her immunization record to the school so that we can add this dose to their California School Immunization Card. If your student has not received this immunization, please contact your doctor.
    • Students must have this immunization before they can enter school in the Fall.
  • 2023-2024 Grade level school supplies
    • If you missed the deadline to purchase supplies through EPI School Supplies, you can view the supply lists by grade level below
