2019 Summer Reading Challenge
All submissions due by Friday, September 6
The Rhoades School’s Summer Reading Challenge is designed to foster the love of reading in our students over the summer months. Every grade level has a different challenge that they must complete.
|Grade 1||10 Books|
|Grade 2||600 Pages|
|Grade 3||800 Pages|
|Grade 4||1000 Pages|
|Grade 5||1100 Pages|
|Middle School||1200 Pages|
The books should be interesting and fun but not necessarily long or difficult. They should suit your child’s reading level. The Summer Reading Challenge is meant to be an enjoyable process as your child meets their personal goal.
In the fall, all of the students who complete the Challenge will be honored at a morning Flag Ceremony and will be photographed for the yearbook.
